Weingart Center Honors Jessica Lall With Champions for Change Award

I’m excited to announce that Jessica Lall, former President & CEO of Central City Association (CCA), and the newly appointed Managing Director of CBRE’s DTLA office, will be awarded the Champions for Change Award during the 27th Annual Weingart Golf Classic on April 3, 2023.

The Champions for Change Award recognizes those who have made a significant impact on their community through their work in philanthropy, social justice, or education. Ms. Lall exemplifies this commitment to the community in her work to increasing civic engagement in local government, improving access to mental healthcare, and solving the L.A. region’s housing and homelessness crises. She serves on the executive committee of the University of Southern California (USC) Board of Governors, the Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board, and the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority Commission. She was the Fall 2022 Barbara Boxer Fellow for USC’s Center for the Political Future.

Ms. Lall is a strong advocate for the rights of marginalized groups, and she brings that passion and insight to improving the quality of life for residents in disadvantaged communities. She’s been an inspiration to me personally as well as to all who have been fortunate enough to work alongside her. This award is a well-deserved recognition for her tireless effort on behalf of others.

The Weingart Center is proud to host the 27th Annual Weingart Golf Classic fundraiser. It's a wonderful opportunity to get together with friends, family, and colleagues and enjoy a day on the golf course while supporting the Weingart Center’s mission.

Proceeds from this event benefit the Weingart Center’s programs and services, which are designed to break the cycle of homelessness for thousands in the greater Los Angeles area.
