600 San Pedro: LA’s largest permanent supportive housing development

On June 12, 2025, Weingart Center celebrated the ribbon cutting of 600 San Pedro — the largest permanent supportive housing development in Los Angeles.

Nearly 300 people exiting homelessness will now have a stable, furnished place to live. Every unit has a kitchen, air conditioning, and basic household essentials. Rent is capped at 30% of income. That means it stays affordable.

But this building is more than housing. It includes a career center, library, dog park, fitness room, balconies, and green spaces. It’s a place people can feel safe, supported, and proud to call home.

Residents also receive wraparound services — from case management to healthcare and employment help — delivered by Weingart Center staff and partners at LA County DHS, DMH, and the VA.

We built this with Related California, Charles Pankow Builders, and several financing and property management partners. Everyone came together to get this done.

600 San Pedro is what real progress looks like. It’s permanent, it’s supportive, and it’s already changing lives.

We’re not just talking about solutions — we’re building them.
